Why I chose an international Baccalaureate School Chennai for my children

I am writing this blog purely because I want to share what I know about good education and good schools with all the concerned parents out there. Every time I meet someone, the conversation inevitably turns towards the education we are providing our children with and one question I am always asked is why this particular school. I chose an International Baccalaureate School Chennai for my children and every person I have ever met has asked me why! I have many reasons for having made this choice. For one, I am an IB diploma holder myself and I felt more comfortable with the fact my children will receive the same high quality education. I have done most of my schooling abroad and having settled in Chennai now, I was thrilled to learn of IB schools right here. I was also a little apprehensive about what quality of education to expect here even though the school is affiliated to the IB board and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that schools here have all the facilities of schools abroad and more!

I chose an International Baccalaureate School Chennai for my children because this syllabus is the most child friendly and student centric syllabus. I know this for a fact because I owe all my creative thinking and logical analysis abilities to this syllabus. Students are thought to think and make logically supported decisions at a very early stage and this stands them in good stead for a long time to come! I work in an advertising agency and I know how much of an advantage the ability to think is and how rare this ability really is! A system of education that actually encourages students to think creatively and make decisions on their own after logical analysis is a God send and this is the only kind of system you should choose for your children. Luckily for me, I was exposed to the IB system first hand and I knew all about it and I was able to make a confident choice. I am sharing this knowledge to help other parents also make the right choice!
